The Institut Roche advances science in therapeutic areas of high unmet patient needs, namely oncology, immunology, neurology, ophthalmology, rare diseases, hematology, and infectious diseases.

The Institut Roche connects cutting-edge, complementary teams in specific therapeutic areas to serve the medicine of tomorrow. We develop and support projects to increase knowledge of diseases, diagnose them earlier, decipher resistance mechanisms, and explore new therapeutic strategies.

To this end, each of the Institut’s scientists brings unique expertise in the therapeutic areas we aim to explore: 95% of our staff are researchers (Ph.D.) in cellular and molecular biology, neurobiology, bioinformatics, mathematics and statistics modeling.
